Stall Fees Stall Type Weekly Fee Fresh Produce (fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood) Coffee Vans & Food Trucks $100 Power (Food Trucks Only) +$10 Artisan, Handmade, Vintage & Retail Stalls $60 Specialty Food (cakes, sweets, baked goods, preserves, honey, sauces, eggs, bread, dairy etc.) $70 Power Availability Power is only available for approved coffee vans and food trucks and must be requested at the time of booking. An additional $10 per market applies. Power is **not available for produce, artisan, handmade, vintage, or retail stalls. You could also add this to your market conditions: Power: Due to limited site infrastructure, powered sites are reserved exclusively for approved coffee vans and food trucks. All other stallholders must be self-sufficient and provide their own power source if required (subject to organiser approval). This wording is clear, professional, and sets expectations from the outset. Stallholder Requirements To ensure a safe, professional and enjoyable market, all stallholders must provide the following before trading. Public Liability Insurance All stallholders must hold their own current Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million is common practice for markets in Australia). Uninsured stallholders will not be permitted to trade. A current Certificate of Currency must be supplied before approval. Food Businesses If selling food, you must comply with NSW Food Authority requirements, including: Register your food business with your local council if required. Comply with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. Follow safe food handling practices. Maintain correct food temperatures. Protect food from contamination. Have appropriate handwashing facilities if required for your operation. High-Risk Food Vendors If selling foods such as: Meat Poultry Seafood Dairy Prepared meals Fresh juices Any potentially hazardous food You must ensure your products are transported, stored and displayed in accordance with NSW food safety requirements. Food Safety Supervisor Where required by NSW law for your business type, you must have a certified Food Safety Supervisor. Coffee Vans & Food Trucks Must provide: Current Public Liability Insurance Food business registration (where applicable) Safe electrical leads and equipment Fire extinguisher Fire blanket (where required) Gas compliance (if using LPG) Electrical Equipment Any electrical equipment used onsite must: Be tested and tagged where required. Be in good working order. Use outdoor-rated extension leads.
