It has now become one of the biggest art and craft markets in the area, drawing a regular large crowd of locals and visitors. Held on the third Sunday of the month, from September through to April each year, visitors enjoy the friendly, relaxed, coastal vibe. The Torquay Cowrie Market specialises in quality local art, craft, jewellery, fashion, vintage goods, plants, gifts and produce. All items for sale are environmentally friendly, handmade, homegrown or designed by the stallholder. There's also an extensive range of exceptionally yummy food, and stages featuring local music and entertainment. You might even encounter a special pop up activity or performance! The first market of the 2025/26 season is Sunday 21 September 2025.
